Approvals and Always allow
Why Claude asks before some changes, which tools you can set to Always allow, and what “which Priya?” means.
Claude asks for your approval before a connector changes anything. Sambandh labels each tool honestly, so you see a prompt only where it matters.
What asks and what doesn’t
- Read tools (find contacts, get contact details, list follow-ups, list deals, daily briefing) only look, so Claude can run them without asking.
- Tools that add (create contact, log interaction, add follow-up, create deal, complete follow-up) ask by default. They never overwrite anything, so they’re safe to set to Always allow.
- Tools that change or delete (update contact, update deal, reschedule follow-up, delete record) ask every time.
Set the everyday tools to Always allow
Logging a call about someone new can take two prompts: one to create the contact and one to log the call with its follow-up. When Claude shows the prompt for Create contact, Log interaction or Add follow-up, choose Always allow. After that, the everyday flow runs without stopping.
In Claude Code, add mcp__sambandh__* to your allowed tools in /permissions instead.
“Which Priya?”
When a name matches more than one person, or only roughly matches, a write saves nothing. Sambandh returns the candidates (name, company, last contacted) and Claude asks you which one. Pick one and Claude repeats the call with that person’s id.
Creating a contact works the same way: if the email is already in your CRM you get the existing contact back, and if the name matches someone you get possible duplicates instead of a second copy.
Mistakes
Every change Claude makes shows in the dashboard’s activity feed with Undo. Deleted records can be restored for 30 days. See Export, delete and disconnect.
